ENGLISH: 2U server housing for 10 inch rack

Personally, I came to the point that 10 inch server racks are more suitable for private homes than 19 inch versions.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find any server housing for mini-ITX mainboards which would fit properly into a 10 inch rack. For this reason, I started an initiative to design my own 10" inch server housing suitable for a small home server, NAS or receiverbox (which is a NAS including TV receivers to stream TV into LAN).

  • 1x 2.5" HDD and 1x 3.5" HDD  - OR - 3x 2.5" HDD
  • Made for standard mini-ITX form factor mainboard including a low profile slot
  • addtitional low profile slot for extensions like serial port, TV cards etc.
  • 60mm fan possible
A power supply hasn't been integrated into the housing: I prefer to have either single-power-supply mini-ITX (mostly 12 or 19V) or use a picoPSU alternatively.

If you want to use 3x 2.5" HDD, a cutting needs to be broken out to place a exchange frame, e.g. from DeLock. This one fits into a standard 3.5" inch slot and can hold 2x 2.5" HDD. They are accessible even without opening the housing itself.
